One of the things I have most appreciated about East Bay Church is that it is a multi-generational community. That heart to be multi-generational starts with our most senior members and their desire for younger people to grow in their faith. This desire has allowed us to ‘grow younger’ over the past four years that I have been here. I have been blessed to see these relationships between generations grow as they discover and appreciate what each person has to offer.

Our church focus in the next few years is equipping people to understand and apply the Bible for themselves. How many of you have ever attempted to read the Bible from cover to cover? Much of it seems foreign and far outside our experiences, making understanding and reading the Bible difficult. At East Bay, we want to make the Bible understandable to everyone.

If you come to worship with us on Sunday morning, you will find a very different format from many churches you may have attended. We will be working together to build a chest of concepts and tools which we can use “…To Read The Bible for All Its Worth.” We will use different methods, including breakout sessions during the Sunday morning service, in order to directly apply what we are learning. This intergenerational interaction will continue to be developed as we worship together as a church family.
